All of our forging activities make exclusive use of high-quality materials!
Materials
As experts in plain bearings and expendable parts, we understand the high demands that you place on the products and materials used in conjunction with your company. Therefore, we almost exclusively use steel from Germany produced in renowned German factories.
The respective material grades of the semi-finished products that we use are optimised to meet all requirements and specific purposes. We predominantly process steel in the grades X120Mn12 (1.3401), 42CrMo4 (1.7225), 34CrNiMo6 (1.6582), C45 (1.0503), 30CrNiMo8 (1.6580) and 50CrV4 (1.8159). Other grades are also available. Due to our many years of experience in forging and other fields relating to material processing technologies such as tempering and austenitising, we manufacture products with excellent stability and resistance to wear and cold temperatures when using austenitic manganese steel.
The special grade austenitic manganese steel (Hadfield steel) that we use, X120Mn12 (1.3401), meets the high requirements of your field of application. The fantastic properties of this steel, i.e. its resistance to fracturing and wear and its emergency operating characteristics, combined with our expertise in processing form our in-house MangaDur® specification used in the production of bushings.
